I’m signed up for HP instant ink but whenever my ink cartridges get low they just register as an error on the printer screen, instead of being re-ordered automatically. I don’t even get a low ink warning- it just suddenly says there’s an error with the ink cartridge. This has happened more than once and I’ve already tried all the updates and resets (including cleaning the terminals). If this continues I’m going to have to stop the Instant Ink since it’s not working- I have to go through the hassle of trying to talk to an actual person at HP so I can explain the issue and they can send me the ink I need. I could just as easily order the ink myself and not pay for the Instant Ink.

If this issue is recurring, I suggest you contact the Instant Ink support team for service or replacement options for your printer. The contact information can be found on the home page of Instant Ink.

 

If the issue is only with this set of ink cartridges, please send us a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
