Hello,

 

I have an HP Officejet Pro 6968 and I've been having an issue with it the last few days with the black ink not appearing on the printed papers. It's also leaking in the bottom right-hand corner but the actual cartridge is clean and I've tried cleaning the printhead and such. There is no error messages or anything that show up on the screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you have already performed the steps from the document  Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hi,

There should be leaking ink visible on the right-side where the carriage docks, the printhead is expected to clean ink and spill it in this place by design, this has nothing much to do with the print quality problem.

 

Follow below steps to troubleshoot such a problem, the ink seen at the right bottom side have nothing to do with the problem itself:
