I have been trying to install the printer using easy install, but I can't do it.
I followed several troubleshooting guides I found but none of them worked, in particular this one
https://support.hp.com/my-en/document/c05291302
on the step 4, when I select the printer, it only shows "Generic PCL Printer" and it installs it only as printer, not as scanner.
Another thing I've noticed, is that I'm supposed to use Easy Start version 2.9; but even when I select this version to download I get version 2.4; I've downloaded it from several different websites (Including 123.hp.com) but I still get the 2.4 version.
Can anyone help me?
Saludos

@lluai, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Connect the printer with WPS (Skip this step if the printer is already connected to your Wireless network)
Locate the WPS button on your router, but do not press it yet.
If your router does not support WPS, skip to the next step to connect the printer with the HP Smart app.
Turn on the printer. If the printer is in sleep mode, press the Cancel button on the control panel.
On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wireless button for at least 3 seconds or until the wireless light starts to flash.
On the router, press and hold the WPS button for 3 to 5 seconds or until it shows that the WPS connection process has started.
The printer stops searching for a WPS connection two minutes after the wireless button is pressed. If you were unable to press the WPS button within that timeframe, attempt these steps again.
Once the printer connects to the wireless network, the blue Wireless light on the control panel turns on solid.
Install the printer using AirPrint
Please ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:
1.) Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
2.) Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list, If your printer is listed, click the printer name, click the minus sign to delete the printer.
3.) If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button at the bottom of the list.
4.) Click the plus sign, click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name.
5.) Click the Use or Print Using menu, select AirPrint in the pop-up menu. Then click Add.
6.) Try to print.
Let me know how this goes.
