I want to install the HP Deskjet 2820e printer on Windows 7 64-bit, but HP no longer offers drivers for that operating system. So, how can I install the HP Deskjet 2820e printer on Windows 7 64-bit?

Hi @Alvaro_

There are no drivers for Windows 7, because this printer is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11.

(1) For alternative you can try to install the next driver in Windows 7:

(2) Connect a USB cable between your Deskjet printer and computer.

(3) Then you need to install from Control Panel > Printers > Add Printer

Hi @ferRX

I tried to download the driver from the URL you provided but it gave an error so I downloaded it from HP support.

I installed the printer following the steps you mentioned, and the printer is recognized and working with the HP Universal Print Driver. However, when I print, the printout appears in the print queue and displays OK, but it doesn't print. Could it be the USB cable? Is there any other reason?

Anyway, thank you very much for your quick response.
