Set up an installed numerous HP M507 laser jet printers and for everyone the first few prints the printer is making a very loud sound grinding.  Only way to stop is to lightly bang on side of printer.  There has to be a better way.  Help

Reseat the toner cartridge. If banging on the side stops the noise then likely the cartridge is not solidly seated. As cartridges are shipped loaded in the printer in many cases, they can jiggle out of alignment during shipping.
