Running in circles to install this new printer a client bought from you but he has an XP PC.
The web site 'suggests' XP is valid, but I can't find a way to download a driver. It offers HP Smart when I enter 32bit XP, downloads ENP6400_2034A.exe (using my Windows 10 PC, because your web site says this OS not supported when I try to to access 123.hp.com from his PC).
It executes dies halfway searching for printer saying "DeviceUpdate has encountered a problem. . . " basically too bad, so sad.
If I tell him to return the printer, he likes HP, was replacing one that was 8 years old, is there support for newer HP printers on XP?

Hi,
The printer is not supported on Windows XP, any current HP printers are supported on Windows 7 or later versions.
You may find its System Requirements listed below, there are no drivers available for XP:

Thanks. Your response was very helpful. The HP web site, not so much. It asked for Model, then OS, and XP was an option to select. It offered one program to download, which when executed on the XP machine ran for a while, then bombed with a generic too bad message.
But at least I'm not wasting more time, thanks to you.
