I just purchased a new HP desktop.  The printer is now running very slow.  I want to update the printer driver on the desktop.

Hi @bwehrly, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Updating the printer driver should help improve performance. Follow these steps to update the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e driver on your Windows 11 desktop:

Method 1: Update via HP Website (Recommended)

Go to the HP Support website:

Visit HP support website - Official HP® Support

Enter your printer model:

Type HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e and select your printer.

Choose your OS version:

Windows should detect your OS automatically, but if not, select Windows 11.

Download the latest driver:

Look for "HP Smart or Full Feature Software and Driver" and download it.

Install the driver:

Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

Restart your computer:

After installation, restart your PC to apply changes.

Method 2: Update via Windows Device Manager

Right-click the Start Menu and select Device Manager.

Expand Printers or Print queues.

Right-click HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e and select Update driver.

Choose Search automatically for drivers.

If an update is found, install it and restart your PC.

Method 3: Use HP Print and Scan Doctor

HP provides a diagnostic tool to fix performance issues:

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor.

Run the tool and select your printer.

Follow the on-screen instructions to fix issues and update drivers.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
