HP DeskJet 2640 All-in-One Printer

I am trying to connect my printer to my desktop computer. The computer recognizes the printer but says it’s not connected. I believe it has something to do about needing a driver. Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks,

first of all try to update all the drivers via any toll which are available on the internet and after that restart the machine still if you face any issues then try to update the windows,  Hope this will work.
