HP Photosmart 7150
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to instal an HP Photosmart 7150 printer. My PC is running Windows 10 64-bit version.

After I downloaded the driver and installed it, the PC "sees" the printer, but the printer would not print. There are no error messages or blinking lights on the printer. The HP Print and Scan Doctor recognise the printer but fails to communicate with it.

I think I need the Installation CD to resolve the problem. I cannot find this CD download on HP website or anywhere else.

Can anybody advise?

Thank you for your help.

Alex.

Hi Alex,

I afraid the HP Photosmart 7150 printer is not supported on Windows 10, no driver exists for the operating system as the printer is incompatible:

I'm assuming all HP products will become obsolete shortly after their purchase. My expensive printer is not compatible with Windows 10. I will certainly discourage all my friends, relatives, acquaintances and their friends, relatives and acquaintances to never, ever buy an HP product of any kind.
