On trying to scan a picture on my HP Office Jet Pro 8028e which I had been using Windows 10 on my old computer and now have upgraded to a Envy with Windows 11 it keep saying it is not configured. What I am wondering is if I uninstall the current windows 10 version and reinstall the 11 version from 123 hp will that work? Or is there something else I would need to do?

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Yes, can you Uninstall HP Smart and re-download / Install  again from Microsoft Store and then use it to add the printer to the network.

 

After adding the printer using HP Smart, you will be able to use the printer again.
