@Bigbrostyx, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Smart app!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

However, to print photos from your HP printer using Linux Mint, you typically need to ensure that you have the appropriate drivers and software installed for your printer model. Here are general steps to help you set up your HP printer:

Install HPLIP (HP Linux Imaging and Printing):

  • Open the terminal on your Linux Mint system.
  • Run the following command to install HPLIP, which supports most HP printers:sudo apt install hplip
  • Ensure that you have the latest version by visiting the HPLIP website if needed.

Set Up Your Printer:

  • Once HPLIP is installed, you can configure your printer using the following command:hp-setup
  • Follow the prompts to detect and install your printer.

Print Photos:

  • Use an application such as GIMP or any other photo viewing application that supports printing to manage and print your photos.

Make sure to check that your printer model is supported by HPLI

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
