Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

In attempting to open the software I downloaded from the HP website on my new MacBook Air I got the following message:  "This volume does not meet the requirements for this update."  What does that mean and what should I do?

What is the exact listed OS version? (E.g 10.5.7, 11.2)?
