Instant Ink subscription leads to print malfunctions

Hi,

since subscribing to Instant Ink and downloading Smart HP onto my laptop my printer no longer recignoses coloured fields.

Prints fonts of company logo only, omits colorued bckgrounds on images.  (this is after 30+ failed self-update attempts - something weird is going on...) My general settings are all unchanged from before Instant Ink.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?
