I'm trying to install HP Easy Start to get my printer working again. When I try, I get the message that SWHelper is trying to make changes to my computer. Is this part of the HP update or is it malware? I can't find a straight answer anywhere. Others have had this question, but the support techs won't give a straight answer. Should I allow SWHelper to make changes to my computer or not? If I don't allow it, the install process shuts down. If I should not allow it, how do I get past this step?

Hi,

SWHelper is a legit process of the HP Easy Start application, it should be allowed and you have no reasons to fear from allowing it.
