I have LinuxMint 20.1, which is on a separate Nvme drive, and Windows 10 is on it's own SSD. PlayonLinux is running the Calculator I've been using since 2004 (in Windows) Moffsoft FreeCalc. (whose output or "tape" I want to print.

After I ran HPLIP all it said was, it encountered "an error" I could choose to edit the script, try again , or quit. so, it didn't offer any specifics, except the path which was related to the "home" folder. I did try again, this time with all programs closed down, but it didn't make any difference, not that I expected it to...

Hope you can help,

The one thing I forgot to mention was a wireless printer. So, after I input the "passkey" I think they call it, a sample text page, where I cut and pasted over and over again, printed.

After that, I tried to print my calculator's "tape". It didn't work; but as soon as I entered my passkey, it worked.

Whether this is going to be a daily occurance, I don't know, i.e. something I have to do before every time I print something, I don't know.  But for today, it 's printing. Faxing? Scanning? I haven't tested that out yet...
