Is there Software or Built in OCR for editing PDF files? If so where and how? Android 10 and Windows 7

Hi.

You are offered with OCR scan capabilities to result a word document or searchable document while scanning with your printer, any such editing software to edit an existing PDF is not provided with the printer and require an editing software.

 

To scan with OCR capabilities, For Windows 7, download and install the latest full feature software by following below installation:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/OJP9010/HPEasyStart-13.0.6-OJP9010_49_9_4593_1_We...

 

Then you may scan to editable text from within the HP Scan software.

 

For Android you may use HP Smart shortcuts to scan to OCR, see Step 4 in below document:
