Envy 6000

Hi HP folks,

is there any new solution for any older Operating Systems to run the scan application from a desktop computer (laptop, desk computers)? And for any Mac OS or any Linux OS or any Windows OS.

I am really annoyed (not saying upset), but this damned scanning function is not a rocket science. I connected already scanners to any Mac OS (from Mac OS 5.xxx onwards, yes 5.xxx) to professional scanners from Crosfield, Screen or Hell in the 1990ies and it worked all the time!!! I assume that you don't know these scanners, but HP acquired a portion of Scitex, where I worked once and Scitex connected any scanner. This circumstances today can't be OK in the brave new digital world!!! (according to Aldous Huxley)

Additionally, I am really upset, I can't update my profile with my HP Envy 6000 scan-printer, because I should run an all-service-contract with it. I use always HP inks!!!, but this is too much!!! I want to have the freedom to run any ink with it! What is, when HP will die and I still pay a monthly ink for a company which won't exist anymore, because there was a mismanagement in HP's executive board.

NOW, I want to run HP smart for Mac OS Catalina. Please send this version to your support page and please inform me about! In the last decaades, I bought always HP printers because of my historical background with your Scitex merger!

Regards

BelliB
