Got halfway into setting everything up (cartridge/ paper alignment, wifi connect) then proceeded to finish setting up on hp app then the one page about hp+ wouldn't let me scroll down further to click the agree button. Anyone else have that issue? I am gonna call customer service on monday

Hi @Vanillabean1

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot—it clearly shows the HP+ activation page where the agreement button is not accessible because the page isn’t scrolling down. You’ve already done a great job getting through cartridge installation, paper alignment, and Wi-Fi setup.

Let’s fix this so you can complete the setup smoothly.

Troubleshooting Steps

1. Check Screen Zoom and Orientation

  • If you’re on a mobile device, reduce the zoom level or switch to landscape mode. This often reveals hidden buttons.

2. Force Scroll

  • Try swiping slowly from the middle of the screen downward.
  • If that doesn’t work, tap near the bottom edge and drag upward.

3. Restart the HP App

  • Close the HP App completely.
  • Reopen it and sign in again. Resume the setup process.

4. Update the HP App

  • Go to your device’s app store and check for updates.
  • Install the latest version to ensure compatibility.

5. Use a Different Device

  • If the issue persists, try completing the setup on a PC or tablet using the HP App.

Would you like me to also share steps for bypassing HP+ activation and setting up the printer without HP+ if you prefer that option? Or should we focus on fixing the scrolling issue first?

You are Welcome!

I’m glad to hear you finally got your new Envy printer set up and running—it must feel satisfying after the effort you put in over those three days. You did well sticking with the process through the cartridge alignment, Wi‑Fi connection, and the HP App setup hurdles. It’s great to know the printer is now in service and delivering the sleek look and performance you were hoping for.

Since everything is working, you can now enjoy the smooth printing experience.

Thanks again for your confirmation, and we wish you an amazing day ahead! 😊
