Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Purchased a new Dell desktop with Windows 11 inslalled. Having issues installing or running printer support apps. HP Support Assistant 9 has been "Completing the installion for a half hour. HP Smart Installer wouldn't install from the Microsoft Store. I finally got it ro install but I'm not sure it's running right. There's no bundled All on One utility for for the printer/scanner. I have to use Windows Scan which is very limited.

I'm sure all the issues are Windows 11 related. There is a message and link on the software & drivers page pointing to a   a "critical" update for Win 11 that won't download anything. My Support Assistant download finally timed out. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.
