Hello
I would be very grateful if someone could help. The other day I was having issues with Airprint on my HP OfficeJet 8718 Pro. I therefore decided to uninstall and start afresh. Since uninstalling I have had nothing but problems reinstalling and getting it back fully functional. I feel like I have now exhausted options. These are the things I have tried based on other HP solutions I found on the web.
1) Knock printer back to factory defaults.
2) Turned router off and on again as well as the printer.
3) Removed the print drivers
I did on one occasion managed to reinstall but it said after all that, that the printer was offline which it wasn't. I have the printer set up wirelessly and the blue light was solid. Anyway the printer is now not installed and I am well and truly stuck + the printer is now out of warranty.

I have even tried entering the ip address that is given upon connecting the printer to the hub . However the ip address for some reason does not get recognised and even if I type it in the address bar on Google Chrome nothing even comes up

To assist you better, what is the error you get while trying to print?
- Are you using the HP Smart app to print?
- Are you using a Mac or a Win PC to print? The subject says Win 10 and your post says AirPrint!

Please allow me to provide an update. I am using Windows 10 PC. I am able to print from computer but am having other issues, please see below.
I have now managed to install the printer and it is also on the HP smart app.
Several issues remain however as follows:
1) Cannot install the printer on the HP Officejet Pro 8710 device software as opposed to the HP smart app. It says the printer cannot be found on the network.
2) The airprint does not work well, sometimes it prints other times not.
3) Scan to computer is disabled and when say yes to fixing it, the 'HP Print and Scan Doctor' does not find any issues.

1. Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
2. If you are using a Win 10 PC, there is no AirPrint in the picture. AirPrint is for Apple devices.
3. A full-feature printer driver is required for the 'scan to computer' option to work from the printer screen.
Click here to download the HP Full-feature driver.
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
Open the HP Printer Utility > Scan > manage scan to computer > Enable

Unfortunately this is all things I have tried, and doesn't work. Don't worry I will just not use the scanner or connect to the device software.
As regards to Airplay. Yes am aware this is apple devices. I was referring to when try printing from ipad, iphone, it does not always work.

Are you able to print and scan using the HP Smart app from the Win PC?
What is the error you get when you try printing from the iOS devices? Are you using HP Smart app or AirPrint option to print?
