I am sorry you are disappointed.
That the hardware still works is testament to the hardiness of the printer.
The full driver printer software was too old to update and it had security problems, too. HP removed the software.
The printer software is no longer available. The printer software was never available for Windows 11.
See if you can get Windows to install some Windows print drivers for your trusty printer.
Be Aware: Built-in drivers may not work - the Windows 11 is very different from Windows 10 -- and there is no listing for this option in Category Software and Drivers.
If it does work, the Windows drivers will provide for basic print function, no scan.
