We have multiple  HP LaserJet 4600 with Jetdirect 630N adding the third party SSL we still receive  Connection Not Secure even though the Certificate is valid from the thoirf party. We have tried using the CSR - Install and it still has the same issues.  We manually created a CSR using the Windows 11 Certificate service and imported the cert and private key but when we login it still shows not secure.

Any Help would be appreciated

Maybe I missed something, but are you trying to connect to the EWS of the printer over secure connection? If so, check the network settings tab as there is an option to force secure communication and that might be where the problem is.

Thanks for the quick response.

Here is the only option for Https access. We don’t see an option in network settings. We have this option under Access Control

The CSR was manually created in  Windows Certicate Snapin - Submitted to CA.  I did not import the CA into the Printer Though. I will do this today.

We installed the Certificate Authority  certificate .  The Jetdirect Web Interface still opens as not secure. We viewed the certificate and it shows weak security even though it shows the correct certificate info - expiration dates and CA are in line.

Could this just be a Web Browser issue with TLS?   We are using the latest patched Firefox which has TLS 1.3 enabled

The Jet Direct has FW 41.16.
