hi

we are looking for a solution to prevent job to be printed until employees request the job from the printer contol panel

Its a demand from our compliance department following an audit we recently had

 

So from the Windows Print server we activated on the printer > default setting > Job Storage > "Job Storage Mode" : Stored Job with a PIN to print ... but this PIN will be the same for all users so i do not see the point here. 

Otherwise each user has to be done those steps manually on Windows settings > printer > Pinter preference but we know that nobody will enable it on his own 🙂

 

so we would like this kind of behavior : we enable PIN to Print so when the user print it asked for a PIN.. or something like that

 

is there something i did not get or for this kind we necesseraly need HP Secure Print
