Just upgraded firmware for MFP M281cdw and now it says "supply problem"

Help! I just "upgraded" the firmware on my MFP M281cdw and now it's not recognizing my non-HP ink cartridges. I use a Mac. I am unable to print anything. Does anyone know if there is a fix to this?

It appears to be an issue with the firmware update that disallows third party toner cartridges. Many are having the same issue. Some have been able to roll back to firmware 20200612 but I've not been able to get that to work yet.

Very helpful man from HP did this for me and it solved the issue. He rolled back firmware. 

I did have to kick up a fuss to get this done (even emailed the CEO and raised an official complaint). That may help you as I think this is now affecting many people. First go through to support (it will be in Belgrade and they were not helpful at all). Then try [Personal Information Removed] (sales - I got a very helpful woman called Andrea) and ask to start a complaint. Get a case number. They then called me a day later and the problem fixed. I did also email the CEO (email on the internet) but not sure my result is because of that.
