Product: HP Laserjet MFP M26nw
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I can see status of my printer in HP Smart app, but I cannot add printer to the macOS 11.4 system on Air M1. Seems no driver available. Driver is not selected automatically and doesn't appearing in the selection list. Please let me know how to proceed.
Printer is working on my old MacBook Pro 2014 macOS 11.4.

Hi,

Please follow below version of HP Easy Start, as soon as it launches open the top HP Easy Start menu and select Uninstall HP Software.

Follow the steps on screen and then click on Set Up New Device and follow the steps to reinstall the printer:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

 

As soon as HP Easy start prompts to install HP Smart, close HP Easy Start and press the Skip to Software Download button, then follow the steps on screen to complete the installation and check for any difference.

 

Once completing the installation you should be able to print and scan.

 

If you may experience scanning issues after completing the installation update the latest printer firmware, restart both the printer and the Mac and check again then:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/IPG/M25/HP_M26nw_FW_Update_20201013.dmg
