OS: Windows 10 Pro; Printer: LJ Pro M118-M119.
I am having trouble printing duplex from a word or excel document . My HP LaserJet is able to print duplex but for some reason I am not seeing the option to print on both sides. When I go into the Printer properties/preferences, the only tab showing is Layout and under it Orientation. I do not have an option to select double sided printing. I have the latest HP driver on my computer. Does anyone have any ideas of what my problem might be. Appreciate any input.

Hello @Marimar11 ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
A) Printer settings Duplexer:
Search Windows for 'devices', and then click the Devices and Printers control panel setting in the results.
Right-click the icon for your printer model, and then
click Device Settings tab
Installable Options > Duplexer: installed
If not, change to installed.
B) Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory:
Enter the Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Right click the printer icon, then click Printer Properties.
Click the Device Settings tab.
Set the Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as installed and click OK to save the change.
Now Automatic Duplexing should become available.
If the Options > Duplexer or Duplex Accessory is not displayed, then download only HP LaserJet Pro M118dw Printer Full Software Solution
- Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
- Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the EXE
- The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
- Restart the PC again
- Now the installation is complete.
Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.
