HP LaserJet Pro M1132 Multifunction Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

One day - my Pavilion g7 can't recognize my LaserJet Pro M1132 😞

Now I have printer, regular, not damaged, broken or irregular - but I can't use it 😞

Actually - I can use scan, in very limited software but printing is not possible.

If someone could help - I try everything what I found here but nothing help. Microsoft is guilty, driver is guilty, not possible to reinstall, I uninstall previous installation and now - new installation not possible. Signalize me that installation not finished because of who knows why 😞 I check different USB cables, switch off and on, cord out and in again, blah blah blah.. everything. Nothing helps! 😞

Someone knows what to do (except to buy new printer)? How to solve this issue. is there any fresh instruction or some tricky option???

I need to print on my printer soon, as I printed earlier without any problem

Hi @nenvuk71,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an installation issue with your HP LaserJet Pro M1132 Multifunction Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

Let's perform a power drain:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Remove USB cable, if present.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
  • Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle

Update the printer firmware

  • Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
  • Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Perform root-level uninstallation to remove all the printer-related software.

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers.
  • Restart the PC again.
  • Now try downloading the software from this link and install it: HP LaserJet Full Feature Software and Driver

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thanks Andy - but your instructions couldn't help me 😞

I follow it but - trying to solve this issue prior to write here I already remove this printer installation from my system. It means I can not install firmware update because my system couldn't recognize my printer. I don't have it installed. That is the reason I can't follow your instructions to the end.

Please - is there any other way to repair this? When I try to install it again - it works, works, works and - simply stopped with installation giving me info that installation failed 😞

Thanks for helping, wish you all the best
