I understand you are getting an error code 80 on an HP LaserJet MFP M234sdwe typically indicates a firmware or hardware issue. Here are some steps you can try to resolve it:

 

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Visit the HP Support website and check if there's a firmware update available for your printer model.
  • If an update is available, follow the instructions to download and install it.

Reset the Printer to Factory Defaults:

  • Go to the printer’s control panel.
  • Navigate to the settings menu.
  • Look for an option to reset or restore factory settings.
  • Follow the prompts to complete the reset.

Check for Hardware Issues:

  • Open the printer and check for any paper jams, foreign objects, or misaligned components.
  • Ensure all cartridges and other removable parts are correctly installed.
