HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281cdw

Hi All.

My HP laser Jet color printer MFP M281 is showing "Resend Upgrade" error message and the printer does not work anymore. It's very frustrating. I googled the issue and found that many users are suffering from this issue. However, there is no any official solution from HP yet - I don't understand why HP is not trying to solve this issue officially.

 

Can you share any hint or help?

- printer: Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M281 cdw

- OS: macOS Ventura 13.0.1

Hi @Resend_Upgrade,

 

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

I understand you are getting an error message Resend Upgrade on your HP LaserJet Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

  • We have to perform a Reset.
  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
