HP Color LaserJet Enterprise MFP M480f

I have a LaserJet m480.  I primarily use MacOS.  I have a very hard time printing or scanning from the LaserJet M480.  The printer / scanner usually does not show up in the MacOS Printer / Scanner list.  The printer has been added to my laptop with no issues. However, the printer is almost always offline.

 

The solution is to go to HP >> Networking >> Other Settings and turn off Bonjour and Air Print, save the settings, then turning those options back on.  The printer will then show up as online, and I can print/scan. However, this only lasts for 5-10 minutes. It appears that the Bonjour services might be crashing on the printer.

I recently updated the firmware to the latest available version, that did not seem to help.

 

Does anyone have any solutions to this issue?
