HP LaserJet MFP M140w Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I am unable to register my new LaserJet M140we printer. I've signed up for HP Smart and attempted to connect from two computers (Windows 10, Windows 11). I've also tried the Android app.

The error message I receive is OW_4XX_OWSWS00001. The printer itself is fine - I can connect to the management pages without any issues. It just refuses to print because it hasn't registered yet. When I attempt to register, all of the HP Smart apps crash or fail.

I find it **ridiculous** that there is no way to register the printer without an HP-approved Internet connection. This is the worst product support I've ever encountered for a printer.
