I have set up, repeatedly, the Drivers and package for the LaserJet M277 and I am unable to print to the printer.  The error specifically says " the selected printer is not available or not installed correctly check your printer or try selecting another printer."

I have uninstalled numerous times all the drivers, made regedit reviews and reinstalled all the software.  The scanner function works fully.  Additionally, I have the printer attached wirelessly to two other computers and it works perfectly.    The Drivers is the latest group from HP.

I understand you are not able to print. Are you using the HP Smart app to print?

  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
