HP LaserJet Pro P1102w
Chrome OS

With my Apple computers, I used a USB cord to print to my Laserjet P1102w seamlessly. I just switched to a Chromebook and downloaded the HP Print for Chrome app. When I went to print, my printer was listed with the HP Print for Chrome icon beside it, but I got an error message that said this printer isn't supported by the app.

Does anyone know a workaround? The printer says "ePrint" on it, but I've never used it to Cloud Print before, and I'm not sure how to connect it to the internet. Is that something I can do from a Chromebook?

Welcome to HP support community.

Perform a power reset

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector and printer.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Update the printer firmware

Refer this HP document for the steps to update firmware:- Click here

You can also print from chrome app.
