Product: laserjet pro m118dw

Its arrived today.  I have taken the toner cartridge out of the packet, slotted it into place and the lid wont shut. There is a white plastic part that holds the lid up that is stopping it closing. If I take the toner out, it closes with no problem.

 

What am I doing wrong?
