I have a LaserJet pro mfp M477FDW that recently updated software. When this occurred I lost access to the  HP Scan application. IT has been replaced with the HP Smart app which has been terrible for how we utilize our system for scanning. Can someone help me figure out how to install the HP Scan app or the correct drivers?

If you download the complete webpack install for your printer from support.hp.com it should provide you with the local scanning program. You could also program the scan to folder feature on the M477 which would make scanning easier and faster without having to launch the application.

I did install the complete install. However, HP Scan is no longer included in that install. They've changed to the HP Smart app instead which has caused nothing but issues for us. I haven't tried to program the scan to folder option. That might be a workaround.
