Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw

I recently purchased a MFP M283fdw laser printer. Worked OK for a week then laptop couldn't print to printer. Within control panel printer status says "Driver is unavailable". I have followed HP installation guides, uninstalling and reinstalling but still have this driver issue. I'm trying to install the recommended driver. Appreciate some help if anyone else has has this problem.
