I recently stopped being able to print from my laptop either over Wifi or by USB directly connected. I can print from my Android phone though over Wifi.

Running HP Print and Scan Doctor resolve help so  I removed my printer from Device Manager and downloaded the software from hp.com, and used EasyStart 13_6_5 and all seems to go well, but I still can't print. I've right clicked on my printer and selected troubleshoot. It says it fixes the spooler, adds the printer to the homegroup, but still I can't print.. I have restarted my laptop (my windows updates are up to date), and my printer. What else can I do?

When I tried to print from Open Office, I got the error: Can't start printer. Then when I check device, the printer doesn't have the green check mark. And when I right click and select troubleshoot, it has to restart the spooler, but it still doesn't have the green check mark. So I select another printer as default, and THEN I can select M148 as default to get the green check mark. But it still won't print from my laptop

(My printer has the most up to date firmware, btw. I use the free Avast software, and had no viruses)
