I have used this printer for years.  Now I find the driver ( windows driver ) is gone and without notice or explanation.  Since a direct driver disappeared about the time of Win 7 what existing driver will get my printer back online?

What version of windows are you running? I see the 1100 driver in Windows 11.

It is direct connected via USB to Parallel adapter, again used with this printer for years.

 

It isn't that the PC cannot find the printer, the driver is MIA.

The driver was there for years. Something has removed or renamed it in such a way to make it hidden.  When I tried to reinstall, it was no longer listed.  I'm not new at this.
