I am unable to get our LaserJet 1505n connected over the LAN.
- The printer works fine when connected to a PC via printer cable.
- When I connect it to our router using a known working ethernet cable, we can't find it on the network. The green light is on on the printer ethernet port, and the router light indicates the device is connected.
- In our router admin page, we do NOT see the printer listed as a connected device.
- When I try to print a "test configuration" page by pressing the green button, the printer clicks but otherwise nothing happens. We were hoping that the config page might list the printer IP address but since we cannot print it we don't have any way to get it.
Any recommendations for next steps?

I managed to solve this one.
The key was in this page: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Archive-Read-Only/HP-LaserJet-P1505n/td-p/2690
Once I reset the network config, the test pages started working AND the printer showed up on the network/router.
How to reset the network config:
1. Turn off the printer
2. Hold the "GO" and "Cancel" buttons at the same time.
3. Press and release the power button while still holding the "Go" and "Cancel" buttons.
4. Release the "Go" and "Cancel" buttons after about 6 seconds after you press the power button.
