HP Laserjet 1536dnf
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

My Laserjet 1536dnf printer will only print, it will not scan after installing Big Sur OS. I installed the HP Smart software, but after multiple attempts, it can't find the printer even though it is listed under My Preferences/printers. I tried the "set up new printer" option after HP Smart failed and checked USB. Still, no luck. The HP Smart software (most recent version) also crashed several times. I should not have to buy a new printer. The printer worked fine with Mojave OS.

If anyone has  a solution, please share! Thank you.
