Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I own a number of these older Laserjet 4000 series printers.  Is there any way to still view their internal web page now that IE has been retired in Windows 10?

I tried Internet Explorer mode in Edge but I cannot view the page contents due to an Unknown Publisher error.

The most  reliable suggestion is to update the jet direct cards to a minimum of the 620n. Your printers likely have either 600 or 610 cards installed. Security requirements exceed the hardware capabilities of these older cards.

I took your advice and picked up a more recent used 635N Jetdirect card off eBay.

I updated it to the latest firmware and it seems to work fine and I can now access the internal server.

I tried to clear out all the information from the prior owner and setup my information.

I see their System Contact and System Location information but I see no place in the internal server to modify the data.

Do you know how to modify the System Contact and Location data so the internal server shows my information?

If you perform a cold reset on the printer with the new card installed it should reset the card as well.

I do not want to reset the card as I have updated everything else but the System Contact and System Location.

Even if I did reset the card that still does not tell me how to update the cleared out System Contact and System Location.

Maybe they can only be updated using JetAdmin...................
