macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I have an old Laserjet 6MP  that still works beautifully. Is there any chance that I can find a driver that's compatible with Mac OS Big Sur? I hate to lose this printer!

I figured this out quite by accident.

No driver download is required.

Purchased a USB-C to USB adapter, my USB hub wasn't letting the signal through evidently.

New iMac recognized the printer and printed.

No one at Apple or HP came up with this simple solution.

I tried to download the driver. It won't open because Apple says it can't be checked for malicious software.
