Before uninstalling the HP Smart App i tried to uninstall/remove the printer from the system and the HP Smart App. I, then added it again and the problem seems to have stopped.
If the problem resurfaces i will try your solution.

I tried my previous solution but no luck.

I tried your suggestion but nothing changes
