Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I just purchased the HP Pavillion laptop with Windows 11.  The software for my printer Laserjet M1217 will not install. If i install printer by windows 11 software, the printer prints to scale even if no option is selected. this only happens with windows 11.  Is the problem Windows 11?  Will there be a fix?  Is there a workaround?
