HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I'm setting up a new computer running MacOS 15.1.1. When I tried to install the printer driver downloaded from the website, I get an error message that says "This update requires macOS version 15.0 or earlier" (see below)

Is there a way for me to load the driver on my new computer?

Hi @LCLOWEJD

Ok, if that doesn´t work you may try with Laserjet basic driver:

I ran into this issue as well. I dug into the problem, and it looks like the installer for the driver is written poorly and checks the OS version number wrong. The computer I had problems with was on 15.0.1, and a minor OS update should not break a driver.

Anyways, I edited the install script for the driver and removed the version check entirely. You can get the file on my drive here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TmoBZy_MzP3moaF1Rq9gUdWKUUkdq-o5/
