Often discussed ... but again:
I have a Laserjet CP1025 color (not the network/wireless version CP1025nw).
I work on a Mac with Mojave 10.14.1
According to HP the printer is supported under 10.14. but driver is not listed on the printer page (only up to 10.13.
Filter error when trying to print.
Drivers of previous versions do not work. The latest one privided by Apple is not working.
1) Could HP add pleas the 10.14 driver that I can acces via apple update (dont forget you listed that you support that!) - Does HP has a policy/terms of business how long they are supporting OS updates? The printer is not that old ...
2) Any other solution known?
Thanks!

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.
I have gone through your Post and would like to help
Please ensure your Mac has all the latest updates. You can refer to this Link: https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT201541
Then reinstall the drivers using Apple Software update
-
Click the Apple menu, then click System Preferences.
-
Depending on your operating system version, click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners.
-
Check if the name of your printer displays in the Printers list. Do one of the following steps, depending on if the printer is listed or not.
-
If your printer is listed, remove and re-add the printer to confirm communication and to make sure the correct driver is used. Click the name of your printer, then click the minus sign
to delete the printer. Once the printer is removed, click the plus sign
, click Add Printer or Scanner, click the name of your printer, then continue to the next step.
-
If your printer is not listed, click the plus sign, click Add Printer or Scanner, click the name of your printer, then continue to the next step.
-
If your printer is not listed in the Add Printer or Scanner window, make sure the printer is connected to the Mac with the USB cable
-
-
Click the Use or Print Using menu, then select the name of your printer.
NOTE: Selecting a Generic driver option from the Use menu can result in limited printer functionality.
-
Click Add to add the printer to the list.
-
If you are prompted to install software, click Download and Install to complete the installation.
-
Keep me posted how it goes
Thank you and have a great day 😊

Thank you,
all the step you mentioned I had already done before. It looks a bit like the standard solution ....
As stated before the printer is listed as 10.14. compatible by HP. However the highest OS on the respective page is 10.13.
Many others seem to have the same problem without getting real help by HP. Even posts marked as solution are not a solution (only for the network/wireless version cp1025nw solutions have been offered).

I suggest you Reset the Printing System and then Re-Add the printer using Airprint
Resetting the printing system removes all printers and scanners from the printers queue and clears all print jobs and print settings from the system, including printers and scanners that are not from HP.
-
Click the Apple menu, and then click System Preferences.
-
Click Printers & Scanners, Print & Scan, or Print & Fax.
-
Right-click (or Control + click) anywhere inside the Printers window, and then click Reset printing system.
Figure : Clicking Reset printing system
-
Click Reset or OK.
-
If prompted, type your username and password, and then click OK.
The printing system resets.
-
Turn off the printer, wait 5 seconds, and then turn on the printer.
-
Wait until the printer is idle and silent.
-
In the Printers window on the Mac, click the Add button
.
-
Select your printer from the list, and then click Add and you should be prompted to install the updates
It might take a few seconds before your printer displays in the Printers list.
-
Add the Printer as Airprint
If the issue persists please check with Apple Support since the deliver method is through Apple
Thank you

many times they did your actions, I have two computers, where 10.13.6 the printer works, and where 10.14.1 it is configured, it sees it but does not print. We need drivers, your settings do not help. Million options tried. Once he turned on, printed the page and then died again. Make an urgent double for 10.14 on your official website HP

Hi Senan6806,
thanks ... However: Have gone through the firmware update already ... no solution.
Problem stays the same: I need a 10.14 driver! See
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-pro-cp1025-color-printer-series/4052955
For Mac support ends with 10.13.
When can we expect the 10.14. driver?

As per this document, HP LaserJet Pro CP1025 printer driver is only available via Apple Software Update. I'm afraid, HP may not release a separate driver download for mac OS Mojave 10.14.
