Product: M254dw firmware dated 2021-11-09
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Latest Firmware for M254dw does not appear to work for me. Printer won't come online.  

I tried updating to the version dated 2021-11-09 twice, but each time the printer stayed in an Offline status.  Each time I had to roll back to a previous version dated 2020-06-12 to get the printer to function.

 

Seems like a problem with the firmware.

 

Anyone else seen this issue?

Here is how I solved this: You need to turn off (disable) SNMP in the printer's homepage; Printer's homepage IP address is located in the ptinter window's by tapping wifi icon then wifi itself.

Once you are on the printer's homepage, click on NETWORKING TAB and then on LEFT click SNMP and then turn it off.

Then do this:  https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05087973
