The Left output bin of the LaserJet 8000DN is not supported by the Universal Driver PCL 6 V 7.4.0 in Windows 10 or 11. It is supported by the Windows XP PCL driver. With the Universal Driver PS it works with V 7.4.0. With the PS driver I select "Accessory Output Bin: HP 500-Sheet Stacker - CE404A/F2G71A" That allows me to select "Rear Bin (Straightest Path)". When I do the same thing with the PCL driver the sheets always come out the top bin. Note the included Left Output Bin (125 sheets of paper face up) is not available as a selection on either PCL or PS drivrs. You can't print on cardstock unless you use tray 1 for input and the left output bin for output. Does anyone have a fix for this? Thank you, -JaySailing-

Have you checked device settings of the driver after installing to ensure that it shows the left output bin as installed. I have found on occasions that the UPD drivers (regardless of version), do not detect the presence of the bin and do not activate it. To check this on your computer, go to control panel, right click on the device and printers icon and select open from the drop down menu. Then right click on the icon for your printer and select printer properties from the drop down menu. Click on the device settings tab and scroll down to see if the left exit bin is listed and if it appears but says not-installed, used the drop down menu to change it to installed.
