Every time I start my MAC computer a pop up appears saying."a program tried to load new system extension(s) signed by "Legacy Developer:hp".  Is this Hewlett Packard software?  What does it do?  What do I do to stop the Pop UP?

Hi @carbo17,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to assist you.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your printer software extension popping up on your Mac device.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, I'm here to help you today.

Do you have the same issue when you make a copy on the printer standalone? (Place an original document on the scanner glass and make a copy to confirm hardware is working fine)

To understand the issue and help you, please share the details listed below:

- Exact model number/product number(SKU number) of your HP Product (Click herefor information on how to find the model number/product number).

- May I know which application are you using to print?

- When was the last time your printer was working fine from Mac device without any issues or errors?

- Were there any changes made to your printer or Mac device recently?

Note: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
