Lid of 8022e

Just purchased this printer 8022e and there are three hinges on the top cover.  The hinge on the far right seems to be "floating" - it's not fixed and although the lid closes and opens okay, I'm not sure if this is a fault or if there's some reason that this hinge is not fixed.
